Yesterday I started on the path to rearrange my room. It’s not that big, so I have to make due with the space I have and the raw amount of “stuff” that’s in there. I have a large desk that I’m borrowing from my roommate (large as in can fit around two 26″ monitors across, and probably two depth wise, large square almost), two small Ikea tables that hold up a 27″ Sony Trinitron tube tv (gotta play those old systems like they were meant to be played!), and a rather large full size bed and frame. I did a rotation of sorts, and decided to once again use part of my closet for workable space. Half of my closet stores things like clothes, random wires and connections, etc. while the other half now houses my desk. Outside on the floor space my bed is aligned sideways with the TV at the far wall. Hopefully this will open up some room, HOPEFULLY.
Resetting up my TV into a place where I can see it will allow me to get some old games played again. I haven’t touched my PS2, Xbox, Dreamcast, Saturn, N64, NES, SNES, Genesis, or other old consoles in a while because I had everything set up where the consoles and TV tucked into the closet, therefore blocking them from all view. It was kinda a hassle to play because of all the work required to just start playing after hooking up everything out of the closet. Now, though, everything should be plainly seeable, and easy to access, hooray!
I have a lot of games to play before November. Everything aside, I will probably be playing a LOT of Left 4 Dead 2, and I don’t need those “other” games to get in the way. Especially in winter break when I head back home and have two glorious weeks of freedom. FREEDOM!!
