So this is perhaps the coolest wedding I’ve seen in my life. I mean, come on! Katamari goodness, rollin up love, all that good shit! I’m just extremely happy to see two people deciding to spend their lives together with the blessing of the King of the Cosmos… though he would have made the wedding much bigger.
The lady is in town, just picked her up from the airport actually. She’s pretty tuckered out, so she’s gonna make a sammich and pass out for now. I told her to play some Super Mario Galaxy, but I think she’s pissed off at the fact that after you beat the game with Mario and get all the stars, you get to play the game with Luigi…. and get all the stars. It’s a bit anticlimactic, wouldn’t you say?
After the blowout from Comic Con, I was looking over some pictures and all the free stuff that was procured. I am happy to say that my case fan that reads Athlon 64 and displays the temperature of my processor is up and running and it is sexy; let’s bypass the fact I have a core 2 duo in there. Silly fan, Trix are for kids!
I am really REALLY excited about Batman: Arkham Asylum. I’ve always been a fan of batman, way back when to some of the early comics and when as a kid I started watching Batman: The Animated Series. It was also super cool to see Kevin Conroy at Comic Con, which was an unexpected treat. I’m not entirely sure, but it seems like Gordon won’t be voiced by Bob Hastings, which is a huge shame. He was perfect, though I am kind of caught up on all the performances since the Animated Series, the show was just soooo good! I’m glad to see most of the cast returning, with the exception of a few of the more forgettable roles. Honestly, you’d be hard pressed to find another cast that exemplifies the roles like they did, that was really what made most of the show for me. So yay, reunion coming soon!
I was debating on which version to get, but my Xbox 360 was narrowed out of the running due to the likes of my 3rd RED RING OF DEATH. Piece of shit console. If I can’t fix it by myself (I fixed the second one by myself due to it dying ONE DAY after my 3yr warranty expired, screw you MS), I will chuck it and eventually try and get a jasper core console on the cheap. Nothing right now is coming out for 360 that isn’t coming out for PS3, so I’ve got my bases covered. Also, I was considering getting it for PC as I could run it great, but PS3 is getting the Joker challenge rooms, and for free at that! So I’m pretty sure my direction in life is set. I haven’t been as excited for a game as I was when the original Thief games were coming out… good times indeed.
Updates on Games Played/Playing/Need to Play:
I STILL haven’t gotten back to Ghostbusters, but that’s cause I reformatted and haven’t reinstalled it and put back the save games. Sooo close! Though I DID finish Episode 1 and I’m almost done with Episode 2, I’m almost ready to continue the Half Life saga with Episode 3 when it’s released in a double pack with Duke Nukem Forever! Sigh. Hopefully I’ll finish Ghostbusters next, then on to the Resistance Games. Keep on truckin! Oh, and imma have a treatsy for yous tomorrow! Whee!
